Summer Sketchin

Since it's summer and I don't have classes to constantly encourage me to draw, I've made up a rule for myself that I'm not allowed to go to bed at night unless I've drawn something that day. So I've ended up sketching in bed most nights before I go to sleep. But it's kept me drawing everyday. And since it's been so long since my last post, I'm just gonna share a couple of the better pages I've done recently.

Blatantly Kory Hubbell-inspired samurai dude....
I saw Nocturna a couple of weeks ago and it got me drawing chubby kids with triangular mouths.
Seeing what kind of textures I could get out of a calligraphy marker...
Gesture drawing during a hockey game
Kris Allen
Sam Worthington (plays Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation) and Ken Leung (plays Miles Straume on Lost)
And if Moth were a goddess in Okami...

Yes to the mouths. MORE yes to the calligraphy marker.

Haha, I'm flattered by your blatantly Kory inspired drawings. These are looking really great, wonderful crosshatch.
